Pretty sure it usually just makes the mop/marker explode or leak due to the left over pressure from the can

 

Open the can and let it sit out in the open for a day and mix it once an hour so it doesn’t dry.

 

spraying any black paint worked well with my mop (kiwi or griffen) mixed with
other ingredients like black speedball ink.
remember to put nut, screw to blend the mix.
not to much paint from the spraycan.
unlock the little rubber thing on the nib of the mop.
spraying the paint into the mop will make a mess.

 

This is my results, it’s kind of streaky you just have to give the mop a good squeeze.

 

Nice that's pretty good what can did you use and also what marker? I like to do this stuff with my old clogged rusto cans works well in kiwi shoe polish

 

For the can I used an old can of black rustoleum. And then I went my local Micheal’s and found this very good mop body but sadly the nib isn’t as durable.
