the only way you can be like daim in by TRACING his work
    (sarcasm)
why would you want a style like daim?
be original and come up with something
best graffiti out there is the original stuff

what does that have to do with anything? he isn't asking for pictures of daim's work, not to mention this thread was old.

but since this thread is now on the top page, anyone who's interesting in learning to do that style of 3D drawing should read up on how to do architectual drawings. from there they'll learn how to draw the figures as though they were straight letter buildings, and than they can slowly progress to make their letters more complex, and when they're finally comfortable with it all they can give it a fisheye look rather than a straight-perspective.

personally i find myself sketching pieces of this 3D nature more than anything else.

I'm not really into doing that "3-D" style like Daim but it looks like you need to know alot about architecture and math to get those textures and perspectives right.

    not really

i reccomend taking a simple drawing class and learning to draw

in fact from people in other drawing classes i've heard about "tagging class" which is like learning to draw graffiti style including the complex 3d pieces. I never been to one but it sounds like the REALLY easy way to learn style, that is, if you don't got it naturally.

if you dont get it naturally, its not your style, i can see your style having influence, but no one can give you your own real style.

    ^ that's the truth

if you don't have style, you just don't

you can still make stuff that looks good but it's not gonna be original

plus it's getting harder to be original cuase of all the different styles coming up
