In NyC cuz of marc echo its now 18 but i but its any age for bucket paint but 18 for paint markers, pilots, inks, broad tips, ect.
thanks to you man I went out yesterday and bought paint and tagged over my hometown for the first time IM SO PROUD
were i live in nj you have to be 18 but theres a store that really dont care too bad only have a couple of krylon colors NEED MORE COLORS
this subject is odd but yeah it has always been 18, back when I was 18 it was 18 to buy aerosol.dig? If you are a gangly tall mofo and look older you can probably get off with no id. But shit Im almost 30 and still get carded. bottom line is it depends on the prick behind the counter. LOL blaming Marc Ecko for making the purchase age 18 is laughable. You are giving him far too much credit, all he did was put some writers on t shirts and make a video game. Oh yeah and collect a check. besides you young fucks should be rackin the shit, thats the way its done. I still rack so quit bitchin' and put your work in.
In NY around where i live its like 18. In NYC i think they changed it to 21 and you can't carry markers with a large tip anymore(but fuck..i'll do it anyway). Anyway to the comment above..your right..rackin all the way baby!
we have no law but most places wont sell to under 18 but others give discounts to high school students ( GO ACE HARDWARE )
ur suposed to be 18 to buy paint but like we all know go steal it if ur under or if u know older writers buy paint off them
there's a home depot near my house, but i havn't bought paint yet... still working on my sketches. I live in cali, and home depot has a self-checkout. couldn't you use one of those for the paint? you dont have to talk to anyone.
