I realize that there's probably a thousand of these threads, but I've been lurking for a while and haven't seen what I'm looking for.

I've been drawing graffiti-style art with pens, pencils, and sharpies on paper for several years now, and I'm finally making the switch to spray paint. I've never owned any "real" graffiti supplies (though I went through about 20 cans of shitty wal mart paint this week) and I don't really know where to start, especially with markers.

Can anyone recommend a few of their top tagging markers? I'm low on cash for the next couple months, so I can't buy much right now. I'm just planning on buying 4 or 5 (with as wide a range of styles as possible) to see what I like, so I'll know what to get when I buy more.

Any supplies suggestions at all would be cool. Here's a drawing I did a couple weeks ago.

depends what you want man marker wise, theres markers for black books, canvas, stickers and stuff like that

or theres markers for actually tagging, since youre low on cash i recommend just making your own markers (shoe polish mop) and ghetto krink, cheap as fuck

Yeah, I saw that. It's a lot of info though, and wasn't that helpful because I have no frame of reference and have no idea what the fuck half of it means.

I ended up getting the GROG CUTTER 08 XFP, GROG SQUEEZER 10 FMP (PAINT), and KRINK MARKER (K-71) after watching some youtube reviews

I like the grog squeezer for doing drippy hands/tags on metal surfaces or bus-stop plastics.
i recently got a Markwell in silver (the one thats in the "free markers/shipping-codes section) and so far i like it, and after testing it, i think i'll like it for tags and hands too.
the other paint markers/pens that i have are Molotow, and i only use those for stickers or blackbook/drawing, not tagging.
I grabbed a chisel-tip Oil Sharpie from Hobby Lobby and its pretty good for tagging indoors, outdoors, and stickers, even eggshells.

I need engines for the consoles listed in the title. I am making games for emulator users and retro gamers but I cant find any engines for those consoles. Do you guys know any?

Nice drawing, I'd suggest staying with the message it delivers.
There is no right answer here so it depends on what you're using it for or like best. I got a little pocket size OTR years ago that I still enjoy for regular taggersizing. I'm more of a freight guy though so for me the Sakura solid markers are best for trains and other metal surfaces, a black and a white is all you need.
The Shartsall provides excellent coverage on boxers, briefs, tighty whiteys, and plain old pants if you go commando.

One of the best cheap markers are bic 2000, if you edit the nib slightly it is fucking amazing.
