fisher - keep practicing, i guess nice first try, long way to go though.

somethin i been workin on tha last half hour

 

Alright i just started and ive been working on my block letters and trying to keep it simple. ive tried to work on my letter structure alot and filled a few pages in a notebook with the letters from my keyboard. Please give me alot of crit and tips if you dont mind because i am just a silly inexperienced toy. Also sorry for the shitty cell phone pics, i cant find my cam.


be as harsh as you would like, everything helps.

 

Right now, completely drop everything, and work on drawing straight lines.

do exactly this TAPN just like that dont bend them or anything and if i were you i wouldn't worry about fills or anything just black and white

 

yeah man i would worry bout the 3d or extensions or anything for quite awhile. theyll come naturally. all new comers try to hard to hit what they think the stereotypical graff look is and it always looks bad.

Make sure you keep your bars the same width at this point and you have alot of random negative space. like some places are filled with stuff and then theres alot of emptyness other places. and your letters are lacking flow. which they will at this point, work on a SUPER simple block letter sketch and or bubble letters which ever feels more natural but the block letter really should come first.

 

my best advice is to practice on ur tags then throws etc.....

ur tag wen its good will shape all of the rest
