I saw a quote on the official site that said "Doing to graffiti what Tony Hawk Pro Skater did to skateboarding" What is that, get every 13 year old upper middle class white kid to beg their parents for a skateboard for their birthday. The parents go to Wal Mart and spend 50 bucks on a new toy for their kid. Then the kid realizes it's not as easy as it looks in the game so the board goes in the closet next to the furby, elmo doll, and Pog collection. We're going to see Wal Mart carry Ecko brand paint cans in the toy aisle next to our Marc Ecko action figures. I work in the video game industry, and I can see the positive points about this game, but from an artistic perspective, GOD DAMN.
valentines day is the biggest corporate holiday in the world.... ....but what the fuck does that have to do with marc ecko

I'm gonna wait for some reviews and see if it's actaully a good game or not. Kaps . . i think that's who it was. You probably didn't play the game very well at all. I played it at the toronto festival a long time ago, it's paint by colours, no fills no outlines, jsut a piece and the colours magically appear all from one can. The game is NOT ment to be a graffiti simulator. It's just a platformer, almost like prince of persia, accept when you get to the objective, you paint something. Advance storyline, next level. There is a bit of free form, and the game does a good job of letting you paint, slap, roller, tag anything you want, but it doesn't really do much for the storyline. Anyways, yea liek isaid, i'm gonna wait for some reviews to see if the game is actaully good or not. I had fun playing it at the Toronto festival, but with an extra 6 months of production who knows what good or bad came of that. Lastly, the release date was the 14th, that means it ships that day, unless your store is close to a distributor, that means you store probably gets it on the shelves by the 15th. Peace out, If anyone picks it up besure to post in here and tell us what it's like.
