office works in australia can someone tell me how to make a nib out of a sock for my mop? do i put foam underneath the sock or what?
You cut the end of the sock off, how ever much you want, roll it really tight, and stuff it in there, perhaps dap it, while it is dry and dap a spot of hot glue on there to sacure it... Rogue, Razor, any input on this one?
jus cuz of the color range they have, ive been lookin for bright opaque paint to fill my emptys with, ill prolly just end up using the OTR refil paint, shit gets repainted alot in VT anyway
Not going to lie, you would be better off just thinning out some rusto bucket paint, if you are using mops, that is.. But just do what you want to do.
im using paint for the mop, will it flow thru the sock properly? i figure if it doesnt i can get a needle and prick a few holes in the top of the sock
Socks are pretty well ventilated as is.... Id recommend using some thinner, or mineral spirits. I use thinners on my bucket paints. Just dont over do it on the thinning, just add it in small portions until you get the consistancy you desire
Eh, pretty close...i like to cut a strip from the top of where the foot would be and then make it no wider than an inch....you dont want the nib too wide....it will take up the whole container! Roll it tight, superglue it rolled up, and then it should be a tight fit in the container...then superglue around the edges of where the nib is against the plastic....dont! And...after its glued in, drop some water on it...it should flow pretty well! Thanks for takin over Code Sucht while i was gone...i was busy!
im not sure about the streaks...but why the fuck would you want that paint. its shitty whats what you gotta know
Yeah, the paint is shitty as fuck! And just make a streaker...check the first page of the ink directory thread...
No the streaker recipe is on the first pge of this thread. And yes the paint sucks, it's a waste to buy.
No Rogue i know....but the pc im on is screwed up and wont let me edit it....i swear....im lucky im posting this right now....
did a test to this marker today on a train, just one tag... Came out pretty good, just seeing how the nib holds up. Seems to be doing ok, some more testing on the way.
