Just throw in some brake oil with some homemade ink into a fabric marker that's been disassembled. Fucking kills it.

as you write turn the body of the marker in your hand so you are always using a thinner edge as you write. After a little practice it comes really naturally.

What I find to work relatively well to make a nice, clean, Marker/Mop(hard to categorize it but anyways) is this:
    You will need:
    Magic eraser/sponge
    Dry eraser for whiteboards
    Knife
    Two liter bottle
    Super glue that is waterproof
    Ink (your personal preference)

    Instructions:
    1. Get a dry erase board eraser
    2. Peel off the felt
    3. If it is hollow already, skip to next step, otherwise, hollow out a rectangle into the eraser and then reapply felt with super glue
    4. Bore a hole into the back of the eraser that is the size of a 2-liter bottle cap
    5. Empty or use an empty 2-liter bottle and take off label
    6. Poke small hole in cap to regulate ink
    7. Super glue cap in hole
    8. Fill bottle with ink and stick rolled up half of magic eraser or sponge in bottle tightly
    9. Screw in components
(You now have a insane mop/marker for less than 5 u.s dollars)

Try using rubbing alcohol but I am not responsible for you messing up ur house. You can try hydrogen peroxide, nail polish remover, rustoleum buff liquid, but I would call a custodian first. (Do not recommend it)

I just figured out (by myself) how to make a solid marker:
    Ingredients:
    Ink of choice
    Soap
    bowl, pot, water and, stove
    Salt
Empty glue stick or twist up scrawler/paint stick
    Spoon
    Knife
BEFORE YOU GO ON, I DO NOT CONDONE THIS BECAUSE IT COULD HARM YOU DUE TO SOAP AND INK FUMES.

    Directions:
With a knife, shave soap into bowl.

For every cup of soap, add one tablespoon of
    Water into a bowl.

    Grab another glass bowl.

    Fill a pot with water.

Pour ingredients into bowl and add 3 two-fingered-pinches of your salt into the bowl.

Place into pot and place contraption on the stove and put the stove at medium heat.

MAKE SURE IT WILL NOT BOIL.

Stir bowl with spoon and make sure not to get water in the soap mixture.

If you have a full glue stick, then place into bowl and stir into goo quickly.

Put stove at the lowest heat setting, and put on a respirator and protective gear in the process.

Turn the stove off, and add your ink when you know it will not boil, make sure the concoction is liquid.

When it is cool enough to touch, yet still goop, and not hot enough to melt plastic,
Thoroughly mix and pou into container of choice.

Wait 1:30 minutes, and then mold the tip into the shape you prefer.

Allow to cool, and leave cap off.

Note: If the mixture cracks, DO NOT REHEAT IT. YOU WILL BE INHALING POISON AND MAY END UP SUFFOCATING TO DEATH.

if it turned out well, close the cap and you are done.
You now have a higher than store quality scrawler/paint stick
(Please do not try unless you are an absolute fucking idiot.)

I've recently bought an empty Molotov 15mm marker and I wanted to know, what's the best DIY paint I can use in it.

    Rip
I spilt homemade ink and ironlak paint all over my carpet ages ago
The ironlak came out pretty easily but the ink is still there
Try scrubbing it with cleaning products and nail polish remover

You dab no scrub on carpet . Gotta lift the Ink out of the fibers not smoosh it in deeper and smear it around .
Get a steam cleaner . Might help . They rent em out places for like 40 bucks a day
