Respirators are relatively useless outdoors. As for me, I dont use a mask, unless im in front of a camera then i use my shirt.

Wear a mask in daylight and if its a long piece, if you wear a mask just to tag/bomb your gonna create more attention to yourself than without one

a mask doesnt draw in attention, the act of crime does.
i wear a mask so i dont pass out from the smell, and if i were to be seen, it wouldnt be a visual face shot.

IMO wearing a mask just incrimnates yourself befor you even commit the crime. Yeh if theres camera or whatever fine. But the most common reason people wear masks is to hide there face, arousing suspisicion.

sometimes doing a street shot is useful. becuase people arent expecting anything. but if your creeping around with a mask on people are going to be watching you with a phone in there hands just waiting.

You can make a pretty ballin ninja hood out of a long sleeve t shirt too lol, i rock a bandana though. But people arent gunna be walking around with a mask on guys cmon dont be dumb you just pull that shit up or tie it on right before you do it so when your actually sprayin it your face is concealed... duh

i dont see why a lot of ppl think wearing all black and covering their faces will make it less likely to get cought cuz all its doing is making ppl watch you till you do something. basicly wear like normal stuff like all i wear is a plain tee when its hot and a plain hoodie when its cold enough and a hat covering up this like mask thing i made out of a black tee that i can pull down when i start painting or watever im doing and like a normal backpack or messenger bag and if you have like a mask for breathing or gloves just put em in the bag till you need em cuz that way you look normal and no one will think twice about it

but i wear all black on a regular basis. . .
the only nonblack clothing i have is some underwear and a brown hoodie.
I wear a bandana around my neck a lot of the time and when I go painting I just pull it up. This is only if I'm worried about a camera recording me or if I'm piecing in a confined space. Otherwise I don't cover.

word, i have alot of black shirts and hoodies. i dont feel like spending money on new clothes so i just stick to what i have. its more sketch to wear all dark in the day time than it is at night. thats if you're not wearing a mask.

i get more people staring at me in the day time, but if im out at night, no one ever even cares to look back twice.

Eh, when I was 'more' of a toy then I used a bandana but honestly I don't think I'mma bother gettin' another one.

If you are bombing I don't think you should need any sort of mask, learn to hold your breath and hold your shirt above your mouth. You shouldn't be spending more than a minute on a single bomb/tag and you should only have to take 1-3 breaths, learn to hold your breath while you focus on what you are doing.

Plus if you have a bandana or whatever then people might think you are a gang member and cause more problems for yourself, especially cops- who will want to beat the fuck out of you more...

Its not that hard to learn how to tie a shirt over your face either.

If you are going to be piecing though you should "invest" in a respirator.

word. at night you dont really need to conceal your face cause its dark, and unless its a place where cops or people pass by frequently, theres no need to hide your face. i take about 2mins top to do a quick throwie. 3mins for clean fill.

i mentioned this before, some kid put on his bandana on the bus just to catch a tag with a sharpie magnum, he also got caught two minutes later by the bus driver. lol.

you do know wearing black isnt necessarily a good thing right? you stand out in the night with all black on. its easier to be seen with all black on than it is with all dark blue on. just the facts kiddies.

    and this

    hell yes haha

Fun fact: ninjas did/do not wear black, especially not those stereotypical black ninja outfits. Nah, they dressed up like peasants and shit to fit in, and would wear dark blue as opposed to black because the night sky is dark blue.

Its better to simply wear dark colors, like maroon, navy blue, dark green, dark grey...and the good thing about this too is if someone sees you in the distance and makes that call, they might identify you as wearing black. Should you get picked up then you won't have on black.

Also, I think its a good idea to always wear an under shirt with a nice contrast in case you ever have to run or anything, as well as being able to use that t-shirt as a face-mask should you need it for maybe a straight letter that's gonna take you 5-10 and you didn't bring a mask just for that 1 straight letter that night.

I'd suggest wearing some nice light basketball shorts under your pants too, so you could entirely change your look if needed.

or you do what i do and just wear a white t shirt n some jeans and a backpack.

i never look suspicious =D exept to the border patrol. those fuckers are all over the streets at night.

covering ur face gets to hot n sweaty. fuck that shit haha =D
