well that kinda stinks haha. o well, maybe i can print it in parts and put it together nicely. who knows
Yeah. Stop asking questions. If you are worried, then pay more. But on your budget the D40 is your best bet.
I don't hate them, just leicas are better I just love the look of them. What lens are you getting? They have a good deal on an R4M and a 28/2 which seems like a dope lens. Make sure you get the R4M and not the R4A. I've heard horror stories about locking shutters and malfunctions on the electronic shutters of bessas.
If you are looking to print high quality ink jet prints at poster size, d40 isn't the best. But realistically how often are you going to be doing this. For a simple laser jet print at poster size d40 is fine. The quality won't matter too much.
I'm not sure if I'm going for the r4m or the r3m, there's a huuuuge difference in the size of the viewfinder. Maybe the 4, because I'm not going to be putting anything bigger than a 50 on it (i think) I'll probably go for a 35mm or a 40 and twentysomething.
Yo Perve, to scan my negatives, I leave them in the contact sheet, scan em, inverse the colors and then proceed to lightroom? ( if needed )
I don't have a photo scanner.. So I just scan the pictures directly? They turn out like pure shit when I do that.
shit doesn't even compare to the developped photos.. Portrait assigment! im deciding whether or not to get the fisheye for live band shots, one thing i would hate to do is drop $500-$750 on a lense i wont use i think i'd get my moneys worth
I'd def do it. It won't only be for that dude, if you go on roadtrips and shit, fisheye looks great too. But in the end, it all comes down to you and your needs. I just find fisheye looks great all around, with some obvious exceptions.
You will definately use it if you buy it. The thing is hella fun if you can afford it. If you already own a wide angle zoom and prime, then go for it.
