nice flick, sorry to hear about that though.

so i am finally done fucking around with this lighting shit. I have an sb600. I am looking to get 2 vivitars, stands, and umbrellas/softboxes. idk what kind of adapters and shit i need to hook up umbrellas and boxes to flash units though. and im getting the cactus triggers. should that be good for portraits and shit? i want to be able to get some artificial lighting outside.

also, im thinking of getting the 35mm 1.8 and the 55-200mm. anyone use them? good/bad? im getting them both for about 260

    Thats really really nice shifty.

    Can't go wrong with the 35 1.8, but id rather get a 50 1.4. and i did.

2 vivitars and an sb is what i use and its gravy.

    Ebay it bro.

What I decided to do was buy some nice lenses for my camera now and worry about lenses for my next camera when that happens. Cuz no matter what, I won't have to look for af-s lenses and shit with my new camera so that opens a ton of options. I'm just gonna make sure I have good enough shit for my d40 so if I even need it as a back up, it will be nice.

shifteez, why did you get kicked out, obviously it's not cus of drugs.
Like the pic, it's nice to see you doing outdoor portriats.

    canon s2is price: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=canon+s2is
    I sold my s5is for $350 2 years ago, so I wouldn't pay more than $100 for the s2.

Anyone have recommendations for a good inexpensive macro lens? Price range is probably up to 150ish. It's for my T2i. Gonna be using it mostly for vid.

you shoot on full frame if i'm not mistaken right? so the 35 mm would be equivalent to the 50 on his d40, and if you're taking indoor shots, 50 mm is a good bit of zoom, i find the 35 to be just right

damn though, 260 for both, i think i paid around 200 just for the 35 mm, sounds like all of us need to go get jobs at best buy ha
