Plus it's only viable if you shoot nikon. Because only nikon make a fisheye for their cropped sensor cameras, eg, everything below a D700. Canon only make a fisheye lens for cameras with full frame sensors eg 5D and upwards.

To each their own. I prefer nikon, but thats cos I'm used to them. Canon have some amazing lenses that Nikon don't have, mostly out of anyones price range, but still.
You CAN still buy the canon fisheye for your cropped camera, but you won't be getting the full effect of the fisheye with it.

I have 2 yashicas, a 35 and a MG-1 they are awesome, leica owners wank on about how silent their shutters are but yashica shutters are SILENT. great for street photography.

I want to buy the yashica CC with the 35mm f/1.8 lens, you need the wider lens for street shit. get one of those if i were you theres a couple on ebay.

What kind of lens is that?

I could buy a 12mm lens for my leica, shit is just ridiculous.

per. those shots I posted were from sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6

It's for crop sensors only, but it works on my 35mm film slr. Lots and lots of vignetting, I guess you could crop it out if you wanted to.

this one's pretty good, in my opinion.
