Everyone always asks this. Any camera takes photographs. The gear don't matter only the photographs, if you take rubbish photos with a cybershot or a pro nikon its not gonna make a difference its still gonna be a rubbish shot.
thanks for the reply man. well i think i will stick to the digis i have until i feel like i take good enough flicks to get a better camera. is it cool to post them here for crits or something? idk if thats allowed or not. btw, i didnt take those pics, my mom did lol
Those cameras are pricey, may as well save a little longer and get a DSLR. Yeah post your shit its what this thread is for.
hey just wonderin, what, if any, stuff do you guys do in photoshop to make pics look better? or cool effects. i usually only use photoshop for myspace layouts for bands and making stencils and crap
Adjust contrast, highlights and shadows, fuck around with colour, sharpness, cropping, vignetting, etc
thats what i would have thought. just wasnt sure if there were maybe some things i was missing that could make a photo look better. might go out to some spots tomorrow weather pending.

i downloaded gimp, opened it, then closed it immediately. i recommend finding a free photoshop download. i got ps7 and cs3 for free. here are some pics from a walk in the park today. these are my first real attempts at photography. crits please i know some are generic sorry for a lot of pics

Boo. I hate when people try to make their digital images look like film. Use film if you want it to look like film. Digi should be used for what it was designed.
empty can- thanks for the compliments. i was expecting a lot of negative things lol. that pic you posted is awesome. looks like a pic a travel agency would have. only thing i could do without is the bouys (spelling) but thats VERY minor lol
