Yeah, the secret is he's a freakin sticker king. When I'm ready to take on a bunch of trades I'll let you know.
Caspa, Bloks, Sum and all those guys all make there own stickers on vinyl plotters. Its pretty cool. If you dont know what vinyl plotting is its actually 2 peices of vinyl on top of each other. No ink at all. Cool stuff.
Yeah sum does his own. I was unsure about Caspa's methods though. I haven't had the chance to examine his work so I didn't know if it was printed or plotted.
go paint get your sticlers printed.this hand made arts and crafts bullshit iis a wast of actual gettin up time..... SERTVD LINY.
So what you're saying is people shouldn't sketch or draw in blackbooks, but rather just go out and "get up?" Because its basically the same, at least in terms of time spent sketching instead of painting, only sketches on stickers can be put up, unlike blackbooks. So technically sticker artists can get more ups than painters, and we do. And not just in our cities, and on rail lines, but worldwide. Sticker artists get way way more ups than painters or taggers, quicker, and cheaper, with less risk and less punishment if caught. Please leave, because your ass was just handed to you.
whats vinyl plotting? is it like you cut out the two diff colors, and put them on each other or some shit? plz explain
I just looked it up and its a computer printer-looking thing that has a mechanical knife that cuts out the shape thats sent to it from the computer. it has adjustable pressure so my guess is that they put two pieces of vinyl together(different colors) and then the printer cuts the shape out of the top piece. apparently its not very good for things other than text...
actually it cuts one color at a time and then you apply the layers. and it is great for cutting multiple colored graphics. example: dmok purple/brown also a multi colored can design i made started with the white and colors cut then applyed to balck then yellow
heres some skulls ive been cutting by hand till recently.im working on getting a plotter set up hand cut or plot cut vinyl is way durable and sticks to most anything...even can be put up wet. skull on the streets: personally i like hand cutting. depends on the design though heres a hand cut "bandito" then sprayed for protection baseball bats for a hardcore event black-n-bule bowl 2009 hand painted w/ vinyl
