ok guys I've created my own ink and the only color that I can make it in is black and I'm having trouble getting the formula to accept other colors anyone out there got any ideas on what I could use to go from black to other colors cause I've tried tons of stuff, fabric dye, pearl ex, pvc primer, a shit load of stuff and nothing is working I'm up for suggestions let me know
well I mixed a bunch of black inks to make it but I can't get those inks in other colors and I don't know how to get it to keep all the capabilities as the black had cause it was bleed thru, heavy staining it was everything
i just finished a homemade mop using a shoe cleaner. its real watered down all i put in was caligraphy ink. dot-3 thicken it up? i didnt use any paint thinner or anything else. im satisfied with it cause it is permanent just too watery. other than this i gotta go get rusto cans of paint and paint thinner and dot 3 and im runnin low on budget...but can rack if necessary
get marsh T white ink and mix the other colors in to that has anyone tried the dye/additive malachite green?
what happens if you use pure denatured alcohol to thin oil based paint? is it the same as paint thinner?
using 1/3 black pens, 1/3 blue pens, and 1/3 red pens (bought variety packs) and 91% alc and 2 light purple permanent markers take the (sponge out of the marker and ring it out) i made a pretty bad ass color purple. and it was simple to do, nona that chemistry shit lol
ive thinned down oil based paint with 99% alcohol it works grreat, i rather use that cause it doesint smell
anyone know what i can mix asphaltum with besides lighter fluid??would it also work well with an ink like pilot or marsh??
can i use white spirit for the pen ink? and if my pens are 3/4 full should i put in more white spirit or does it just give a thicker ink which i can thin down?
^get de-natured alcohol, it coems in thsoe big tins like paint thinner. its 99% alcohol, so its prety much the best u can get
