I did this piece as a "warm-up" for a project I started a couple of weeks ago called "the Traveling Blackbook Project". The idea is to have different pieces of artwork, from artists across the globe. Yo eggz, so this is a sloppy sketch its just supposed to get the point across. My suggestion is you use a ruler (I never but thats besides the point) for 1 point perspective at first. Itll help you understand how to manipulate 3d. Make sure to get every point thats in the direction of the dot you place on your paper. Also maybe work with a more straight design at first instead of curving it like that. Most writers will always do there design horizontal. There is exceptions to this rule but that comes in time! Keep it simple and use a tone of 3 colors. Also use a thick black marker on the outside of the letters and thin one on the inside (if that makes sense) Makes it really pop! Anyways homie keep it up. Oh yah any reason you chose the name EGGZ, double letter names can be quite hard to master!
Thanks for your input man. I tend to remember being shown the dot in the distance with all lines going to it. I will keep this in mind. Also I like to write simple styles (for now). Three colour combos are cool so thanks. My goal wasn't to make this symmetrical 100% it was just plain free styled. I have alot of different styles I will post up, so I look forward to what people think I write best. As for EGGZ and the double letter. Yeah I like a challenge. The name has stuck with me through alot in the past and is respected by many (not writing wise yet). I have been suggested an alter ego, but EGGZ is my roots. There's no turning back. My favourite artist who has an alter ego is MF DOOM. (RIP) As you can see he has the double letter. Peace!
