First Blackbook Piece in some time!

 

Practicing a random word with some extra elements. Haven't decided on the colors yet. But everytime I add color I feel like it becomes less presentable. Maybe I should leave it as black and white. Let me know what you think!!

 

Started adding more style and I’m having some trouble getting these letters to flow, especially the d. Let me know any critiques

 

Everyone has a different style so I can only speak for myself. Maybe try melting letters without the complete outline of a single letter. The perfect example is my picture above your post. You can see the letter 'E' is melting with the letter 'M'.

To be honest the letter 'D' is also not my strongest letter but with a quick google search I found these images I would like to share.
