Haha. Yeah, I know where that is. I haven't through there in along time. Last time I was out there was in KC.
There's no post about graff/art in my state and I doubt there will be in the future either, but I wanted to show you guys this wall like a couple miles away from where I lay my head down, it's probably a commissioned piece but also the best graff I ever saw with my eyes outside of new york. Take a look at this shit, it's wild.
Got to bust out my new paint last night. There are some things I wish I could change, but overall I’m stoked to have this one up. Still gotta work on can control quite a bit. The ridges really threw me off, lol.

This was a practice piece on a legal wall, so I didn’t use my best colors. I’m not super happy with my proportions, but my can control is feeling a little better. Still got a few unintentional drips, though.
Yeah I definitely struggle with that. The bottom of the E is so skinny compared to the bottoms of the P and W. I’m just gonna keep sketching and painting simples for a while.
..Maybe try to keep all those letters in the same style with similar proportions or how to call it (bar thickness etc..) and don't overlap them too much (like the 'r' and 'i' in your sketch) ^^ I'd do it somehow like that.. (sorry my drawing skills on a phone are wack) ...the simple letter style that you used to sketch 'name exchange' sketches was nice so maybe focus on that one and develope it and about the piece - just use spray cans more often and you'll get the can control pretty soon. ..hope it helps))
