Just bombed this like 20 minutes ago. Kind of a last minute thing. Its a cramped up little spot I went to like months ago. [Broken External Image]:http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j106/kottonmouthclockwork/DSCF0171.jpg Crits.
Did you not look at the spot first of all? The waters gonna rise and fade the fill anyways? And when did fill start to matter with throws? Can you see what kinda paint I was using? The only thing I used other than the can is a NY fat fill cap. So give me a break.
its not the fact of shitty paint or shitty caps. stop making excuses. its the fact that your letters are terrible. stock caps work fine for pretty much everything. a really skilled writer can use stock caps and dollar paint and paint shit that looks fine. thats no excuse. your letter structure is terrible, end of story, no excuses.
I get what your saying. But its the angle too of the camera. It wouldnt un zoom any further so the O looks funny. What kinda paint should I use then to do fills? If the dollar shit is gonna look like this?

[/b][/quote] are you serious...when has a fill not mattered. you did the fill in all little sections....a good fill is done with large, even strokes that go from one end of the letter to the other. also stop blaming shit like "the angel of the camera, the paint, the caps, the spot"...a good artist can pull anything off. and especially dont blame your caps because i have seen many many many throwies pulled off with nothing but a ny fat cap. you would be better off saying you used stock caps. the lines are all messy with overspray and uneven widths. anyways all i'm saying is that you shouldnt make all these excuses and get all offended...the bomb just all around sucks.
I respect what your all saying cause its crits I asked for. No one wants to hear about what I used or anything. But what can I do to improve it! No one answered that question? What kind of paint do I need to use for bombs and what do I need for the widths?
dude....i cant even do anything with it...i installed some crap and i still could see it...im gonna cry.....and go on myspace....and leave you a comment....and your gonna be like. whoa, "he was on my friends list?" ok?
ok heres some crits for you... 1) when doing your fill, do even strokes from one side of the letter to the other...one letter at a time so it doesn't look all choppy..your fill looks like that because you did seperate small sections in each letter. 2)when doing your outline, you need to keep it consistent(sp?). keep the can the same distance from the wall throughout the whole outline.. 3) why would you do a forcefield in the same color as the outline? dont do that. i say this because it looks like you went uneven on the outline. 4)dont blame caps and shitty paint. ny fats should have worked fine but you just dont know how to fill properly... i have used worse cans with stock caps then what you have in that picture and the throw came out fine.all you need to do is practice filling shit in better.. 5) keep sketching man. right now, what you painted has no style what so ever. i would suggest that you dont paint anything for a while untill you get more style and flow into your letters, and this will take a while..but please, lay off the cans and keep your focus on the pencil and paper. i doubt you will read this rant, but its for your own good to follow this. w.e. edit: you use any paint you can get your hands on for now..you dont need higher quality paint yet..dont waste your money on montana or belton...stick to the cheapest thing you can get. use stock caps for outlinnmes if you cant get your hands on ny thins or german outlines(my favorites for outlines) but you can always use your nyu fats for outlines too, if you have the can at the right distance it will still look nice. pce im out.

Thank you. I appreciate the help. I hate it when people are just criticizing and not helping any. I read all of it and it makes sense. Do longer strokes to keep the letter from looking uneven. Proving again why mods are mods. And proving why they help so much in the toy thread.
