In Albuquerque New mexico they used to use this buff paint that had like wax or something in it so paint wouldn't stick to it & it could just be wipped off. Even marker ink.
We even use that anti-graffiti stuff on legal walls ourselves to make sure we won't have any problems with cleaning later...if the wall gets bombed. (Hardly ever happened....)
Your problem is your paint. If you rack your paint from Wal mart or Lowes or whatever, get Rustoleum. Get the tall cans. They are in a silver can. The color of the paint will be the color of the lid. and the caps are percent fatter than the regular rusto cans.
The have that on some walls in sydney its pretty crap...its like painting on bricks except worse p.s. i know we all paint on bricks (DUH) but some soak up paint like a bitch....
That's soo weird I've never heard of that happening to anyone... Well shit, I hope my neighborhood doesn't hear about this stuff
The park by my house used this stuff on everything! Not that I'm gonna go tag benches or anything, but its still pretty dumb.
ive run into it before. i dont think its that widely used but if it were to gain popularity i could see it as a problem. just looks worse when someone has sprayed on that stuff than without it
i saw in a book i got it had a picture with a bit of a book and it said something like.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, they put clear shellac over and you needed a hammer and chisel to get it off there always one step ahead someone put shellac on your tags and film the buff getting it off lol
haha i remember the first time i came across that, going to Canada for the first time hitting freight trains was very fun being from nyc. however i was by myself one night because my friend who was showing me around had to do something, i tried to do a tag and the second i sprayed the can it just all dripped straight down. this dosent really effect me that much since im in nyc but if your in Canada i feel bad
