Everywhere I go, I mean everywhere, every suburb, of my entire town. There's this writer who calls themselves TES, seriously this cunt has been everywhere, just the shit that's currently up would take hundreds if not thousands of Aussie dollars to put up there. The interesting thing is, that this person might be a chick (Tes, Theresa, it's a fairly common nickname) and that's pretty interesting :) considering this is generally a male dominated hobby

mine is a guy named Obese. because ive watched him go from toy to fucking pro for aslong as i can remember. he is the reason i know what graffiti is today. he's not too local anymore though because he moved to NYC and writes there now and im upstate. but he comes back ocassionally and does a peice here and there.

NORMZ he/she had a few tags around when I was younger an first getting into graff I honestly think he/she was the only artist in town at the time then me an a few cats started doing shit an bam shit spread like wild fire people were putting up toy shit everywhere. The few good pieces that were done by normz got coverd up and it's a shame because shit was fine.

NOEM was the man who got it all started for me when I started writing in 02-03.

There used to be a grain tower (now a Nissan dealership) that I would see on my frequent drives to and from town as a youngster, with NOEM at the very very top, with the taunt "HOW HIGH..."

It was the highlight of my drive, and I like to think of that specific piece as the one that started it all for me.

The one attached is a piece along our local Public Train-transit Service route. Taken in Calgary, AB.

A couple of names come to mind, biggest one for me would have to be GREN. When I was first getting into graff round about 09 this dude had loads of sweet pieces and a really unique style. There were these 4 garages near me, he painted each door with a letter from his name and it was the sickest thing, it was so simple, but so big and it stayed there for years.

atm there's this guy by the name of RELMS who is taking the piss. Back in 09 STRAID used to be the guy that bombed everywhere, but this RELMS guy is out of controll. You can't walk 100m without seeing a couple of this guys tags, in a relatively short amount of time, he's gotten up all around my city. Only thing that pisses me off about him is how good he is, like there are times when ive been like "yeh ill go bombing here next time ive got anything on me" and by the time ive got shit, he's already hit it up

Local Hero's for me are Beta, Dead, Casm and Smug(not as local). Been fortunate to meet and paint with/near all bar Casm as he's moved to the US now. Seen a Casm piece that inspired me to find the local graff shop. A week later i had beta showing me what was what with tins, and popped my first piece up.. Been addicted to the smell ever since, ha
