Since im from tdot, for sure Bacon and Kwest. Outside of here, from BC id say Keep6. Around the world would be Vodka, Saber, Zone, Nemo, Zeus. Missing others, cant remember names
Mook (I grew up in pgh seeing his work all the time & wondering why anyone would climb that high just to write their name), Bates, & fucking Claw - because I am a female & I also make clothes.
In the long run, ever since I first saw the Infamy documentary years ago I've been real into philly style stuff, and especially NM. And recently, SAEIO from Paris. It might just be me, but ever since I first saw SAEIO's stuff (his tags, at least) my brain made some weird connection to philly-style. Probably cause he uses flares and real tall skinny writing a lot. At the very least it's because both philly-style stuff and SAEIO both totally weirded me out in the best way when I found them for the first time.
i love big writers like lush rasko cope seen etc.. but the most inspiring writers to me are the local dudes getting up and smashin every street in my area, the more graff i see around my place the more it makes me want to get up.. kinda like some friendly competition or something i guess
FROST: First graff I ever gave a shit about reading, saw another burner of his the same day like 9 stories up and I was like damn that's wild. HUE: I love the bight colors and clean lines. Another hometown hero too. SCRIBE: Crazy murals all over downtown.
I like the oldschool flavour of new york and consider it as real graffiti so logically my inspiration are writers from that era: Dondi(Rip),Duro,Dez,Ven,Ket,Lee,Ghost,Psycho and IZ may he rest in peace. and many more!
