Elik, I had a go. hehe Might colour it at some point, although im not very good at colour schemes and patterns yet.
Whats up nomad...imma call you that for short, cool? What do you write ill throw one down for ya it might be later though cause fathers day
And one the one you did for neko...how do you decide where to put the blue parts on the shading? Is it only on edges or curves?
@BluberryNeko thanks for the sketch ..and about the colors schemes - don't be afraid to experiment.. me personally I usually use contrasting colors..like orange + blue, turqoise + magenta, green + purple, etc.. but depends on you)) there are many awesome combos
Haha hey Sug, yeah, nomad’s fine. Honestly I wing it with the blue bits I’m still figuring it out but I found that less is more.. I always try to get a small bit next to a thicker bit.. if you’re going for 3D though I think the most important thing is getting the lines and perspective right. Pick a direction or point and draw the lines in before filling it. In the “fun” above it’s more of a border since it goes in different directions. Not sure if you’re going for a border or a 3D effect though! Just keep practicing and see what you like I did it in just black or grey for a bunch of sketches before using any color maybe that will help too
Yea ive learned more about shadowing since that one...i did this one but without the bits...did better on this one...ill try to work on yours tonight at work
That color scheme is crazy. You always throw something pretty when it comes to colors. I wish I had an eye like that
